Making a living off of your content is a name of the game. Most creators will go after becoming a partner with YouTube to start getting ad revenue.
That also will be the only way they try to make money. But here’s the thing:
You don’t need to be a partner to make money on YouTube.
So how can you make money on YouTube without being a YouTube partner? Let’s explore four powerful strategies you can implement today to start seeing a return on your hard work.
Read below for the answers (or click on the video below).

Method #1 affiliate marketing.
What affiliate marketing is, that is when you advertise for a specific company. That company will give you a unique link for you to give to your audience or whoever you want to give it to.
When they use that link and then make a purchase, then you will see a commission off that product, subscription or whatever it is.
Now some places have an affiliate Marketplace where you can find hundreds of different companies that are into marketing.
If you don’t find a specific company that you looking for, you can go ahead and just try to go on their website, and see if they have an affiliate program there.

Method #2 Sponsorships
The difference between a sponsorship and affiliate marketing, is that you’re gonna get paid regardless with a sponsorship.
Affiliate marketing, these people have to use your link and sign up but with a sponsorship, a company you’ve already negotiated a price with a company, describing how long you’re going to have a commercial in your video.
Like for example, I do a sponsorship with XYZ company and they are saying if we want at least one minute in each video for at least 10 videos.
We will pay you let’s just say like $2,000. Each video. And I’ll be like “OK”. I’ll take the $2000 per video.

Method #3 Promote your own product
You might be thinking “I don’t have the money” or “I don’t have a product”. But you can make your own product for free. Let’s say you just want to make shirts and hats.
With websites like Canva and Placeit, you can build a design that you can put on shirts, hats and other apparel. Then you can go to Spreadshop. On Spreadshop, you can build a store and put those designs on shirts, hats, and etc. and then when somebody makes a purchase, you’ll get a profit.
With Spreadshop, you don’t spend any money. Instead they put a base price on merchandise and then you add what you want your profit to be per item. (their price + your price = the item cost)

Method #4 Crowdfunding
That’s where people would donate to your channel to help you keep doing what you doing. Whatever you know content that you’re creating they want to see more of it and they’re interested in it enough to, you know back you.
So you can do this several different ways YouTube has its own crowdfunding. Your fans will become a member of the channel but you do have to monetized in order to use that.
You also have other platforms like PayPal, GoFundMe. Patreon is probably the biggest one around in my region but you check the region that you’re in and then you use whatever you’ve personally heard of.
As far as doing a crowdfunding service, a lot of people will have different tiers and they give different rewards for the amount of money that their fans are donating to them.
So that being said those are my five different methods that I have for making money on YouTube without actually being monetized. Let me know in the comments section which method you like the most.
