YouTube SEO tools are becoming more popular as the platform goes. They’re helpful for up and coming YouTubers to get discovered and they keep larger YouTubers ranking on the 1st page.These tools pretty much cover all bases and help YouTubers. In this article I’m giving you my review of MorningFame.
I talk about how it works, what you get with it and my thoughts about it, especially in comparison to other SEO tools like VidIQ and TubeBuddy.

Analytics Report
The Analytics Report is one of the options you get with MorningFame.
The Traction Tab
The Traction Tab is the Analytics Report’s homepage. It closely looks at your numbers and tells you whether or not your channel is progressing or stagnating. This gives you an indication of whether or not you need to start making any steps towards growing on YouTube (and the answer is always “yes” – because there’s never enough when it comes to YouTube growth!).
The Strategy Tab
The Strategy tab is the starting point to identifying what your next step on YouTube is going to be. It will show you a graph with different analytics metrics and compare you to the average. This way, you can see where you need to perform better and think of a plan to do so.
The Workshop Tab
This tab is an extension of the Strategy tab. The graph in the Strategy tab might recommend that you work on your engagement, like in the example above. So then, you go to the Workshop tab for engagement and it’ll help you with increasing it by showing you exactly what type of engagement you need to improve on your channel.
MorningFame will tell you what you need to do in order to improve your channel performances, as you can see in this example for Gained Subscribers –
The Velocity Tab
The Velocity tab shows you how well your videos are performing in the first 72 hours of publishing them. This tab also allows you to compare between videos on a fair basis – all of the videos are compared on how well they did in the first 72 hours of them being published.
Algorithm tab
The algorithm tab shows you where your views are coming from. That can be from a YouTube channel, Google search, Home, Suggested videos, Trending, Shorts or Linked content. Using this information can help you understand the strategy to produce more views for your channel.
Morningfame Keyword Research Tool
#1 – choose a Topic
MorningFame allows you to come up with the topic on your own, copy and paste a video link that inspired you to create a video on a certain topic or even take inspiration from your existing content to dive further into the topic at hand. You can even look at channels that are similar to yours to gather inspiration from for your next video’s topic.
#2 – target a search term
The next step in the process will show you common vs. uncommon keywords, tailoring the keywords to channel size (big channels should and could go for more common keywords and the uncommon keywords are more suitable for smaller channels to target).
#3 – Search and refine
After selecting a keyword in step #2, you’re immediately taken to step #3. Step #3 will show you your Ranking Opportunity for your chosen keyword. The grades rate the ranking opportunity your channel has if you create a video that targets the given search term.
#4 – Optimize the metadata
This step in the process helps you optimize your video using the keyword for the best relevance score. The higher the relevance score is at the end of the process, the more optimized your video is for that keyword. There’s not much more to it – simply type in your title, description and tags and watch MorningFame work and calculate the relevance score for your video.
Morningfame Pricing
Pricing-wise, MorningFame is okay. The difference between the plans is that with the Plus plan, you get unlimited access to the Keyword Research Tool. Unfortunately that’s the biggest reason to use this platform and with the basic plan you only get to use it once every 12 days! That’s 3 days a month at best! If you brainstorm beforehand then use the keyword research tool after having plenty of keywords to search, it might be worth but I can’t recommend that plan. Letting it’s customers use it after every 4-5 days would be MUCH more reasonable.
So what is the final verdict?
Overall, MorningFame is a wonderful tool for keyword research but if you’re looking for more features, I would suggest TubeBuddy or VidIQ.
I did find that MorningFame’s keyword research is more accurate than the other 2 though. MorningFame’s pricing is comparable to the lower paid versions of the other platforms(7.20 for TubeBuddy and 7.50 for VidIQ).
