Sprizzy Review: worth your time or waste of money?

In today’s article, I’m going to be talking about Sprizzy. I’ve just used it on two of my videos to help promote both and I’m going to give you my results as well as answer a few other questions such as, is Sprizzy a legitimate way to get views? How much does it cost? Also how easy is it for you to use? I’ve done a review for Prodvigate as well. At some point, I’ll decide to do a comparsion.

Is Sprizzy a legitimate way to get views?

The answer to that is yes. What Sprizzy does is that it essentially takes one of your videos and makes it an ad campaign that will be placed on YouTube. They’re basically a google ads manager to some degree so you don’t have to have your own google ads account in order for them to create one. They have things set up so you just enter in a video you want to use. You also tell them where and how you want to target your audience at and a few other things. Then they’ll make your ad live.

How much do you have to spend on a campaign on Sprizzy?

The minimum price to create a campaign is $50. If you are already plan on spending about that much, it might not be that big a deal for you. If you wanted to spend less however, I would recommend learning Google ads.

How easy is it use?

Now I found that Sprizzy was fairly simple to use. Once you sign in, and you figure out where your channel is on Sprizzy, you pick a video that you have on your channel. You build your ad. So once you start to build your ad, you’ll be like picking an audience, you’ll pick out the title and description of the ad but you can also let Sprizzy do a couple of these things for you instead if you don’t want to do it yourself.

How much you want to spend on the budget? Figure out how long you want it to be for and then after you finish that, it should take between one to two days before your ad goes live.

Do I get more than just views from Sprizzy?

Let’s go ahead and look at the actual engagement report. If you go to your campaign tab, your campaigns will be listed here. By hover over the menu on a campaign you can click on the engagement report.

From this report, you can see:

  • Date,
  • The amount spent that day
  • Impressions for that day
  • The ad views
  • Cost per view
  • Views from discovery + search ads
  • Views from commercial ads
  • YouTube count increase
  • Subscribers
  • Likes
  • Comments
  • Earned Views
  • Earned Playlist
  • Earned likes
  • Earned shares
  • Earned Subs
  • Cost per engagement
  • Cost per Earned subs

Most of this is pretty much self-explanatory. The only thing that probably isn’t as self-explanatory is the earned actions. Earned actions are when somebody clicks on your ad and they did a particular action. For example their views if they clicked on my ad, and then they decided to watch another video of mine that counts as an earned view. That’s up to seven days of clicking on the ad. The same thing goes for earn playlists, likes, shares, and subscribers.

This ad ran for 7 seven days. Let’s look at the totals at the bottom. To find out what impact the ad had on this video we want to focus on Views from discovery ads and all earned actions.

The total views I got from this ad was 1,681. For earned views I had 32. 7 people decided to watch one of my playlists after watching this ad. I got 10 likes. I didn’t get any shares but I got 9 subscribers. The cost per earned engagement they say is that 1.68 which isn’t that bad but the subscribers is at 8.75. It’s almost nine dollars per subscriber which I wouldn’t say that’s that great. If this was around at least 3.00 or less per subscriber I would be more okay with it.

You can see that this one isn’t as good though so i wouldn’t actually claim this to be a success. Look at the cost per engagement. This one is over twice the amount and almost 2x the amount for cost per subscriber. If you look at my earned actions you will see that they are lacking as well.

This just goes to show you how differently ads can actually play out on your channel. It could be the exact same people you’re targeting but the video you choose will have the biggest effect on if your campaigns will be a success of failure. As far as these two i would definitely keep going with the amazon affiliate over the affiliate marketing video. I could also try targeting a different audience with my affiliate marketing video to see if it has better results.

Would I recommend Sprizzy?

If you are somebody that likes to have more control and you have the patience to learn, I would definitely do Google ads instead of Sprizzy. However, if you’re promoting music videos, you may want to try this out as well as I have heard this platform can help. Something about this platform that I personally like is the cost per engagement and cost per subscriber in your report.

At the end of the day, Sprizzy is a decent way to go. You can look at my results and take it with a grain of salt because my channel is different from yours so you know you shouldn’t expect the exact results that I get. You might do better, or you might do worse. It depends on the particular video that you’re going to be promoting and the people that you’re targeting.
